Converting Video for Nano and Classic

I have used Handbrake to convert video for my itouch.
My classic and wifes Nano 4th gen will only sync with video purchased from itunes.
When i converted music video's using handbrake i used the preset for itouch.
When converting should i use the universal or ipod preset so the video syncs with Nano,Classic and itouch? aslo do i need to use ipod 5g support?

They are just size differences in the video being encoded. I'm pretty sure you're going to get the same MP4 file out of them but just with a different size encoding depending on which profile you choose.

EDIT: Why don't you just pick one, convert a video and see how it works out? If it doesn't work right just pick another option.
