    Hi.

just wondering what can i use to convert mp3's to cda, as not all cd players are mp3 compatible its cda that is required right?

also what is ccd? ive seen clonecd can produce ccd and img files or something but dont know what they are.

so in a few words. i need a mp3 convertor/burner that can convert it to a standard audio format on a cd like the songs are on in the shops on the cd's (which i think is cda?).

    thanks

Nero & Many other CD burning applications will do this...just use the Audio CD option.

Use Nero to do an audio cd, then drag the mp3's over and burn. Mine converts them that way.

Don't know what version of Nero you have, but at least with version 5.0 you had to buy a cheap add on (5USD) which would do the mp3 to audio conversion. Check on Nero's website. It was a royalty thing as I think Frauenhofer charge licensing for the patents or some such.

If that happened you probably burned the disc a a data CD.

I'm using the latest version of Nero (6.6.0.16).

It may be best for you to use Nero Express as it has a simpler interface...

    1- Fire up Nero Express
2- Highlight the music icon which will open another menu.
3- Click on "Audio CD" which will open the drag and drop window.
4- Click "Add" which will open another explorer window.
5- Browse and select your mp3 files.
6- Click "Add" then finished which will close the window.
7- Click "Next" which will take you to the burn dialog screen.
8- Select your desired burn speed then click "Burn".
