Hi, first post so be nice.
I have heard about RGB to component converters (Ithink Keene electronics do one). I have a Panny TX32PD30 and want to know if there is any merit from using one of these to convert the signal from say a DVD or freeview box?

    Cheers!

It depends how much £85 odd means to you. My dad uses one on a Pace twin and is thrilled with the results on his 36PD30 if that is any help.

Pannys Acuity chassis is notoriuosly bad at RGBS so it may be a worthwhile upgrade, better upgrade might be a DVD player with component output also look at JS technology converters!

    Thanks!

The DVD will definitely be upgraded soon. My biggest gripe with my current set-up is when watching freeview. Any fast panning motion produces noticable noise - mainly in the background. The main reason for looking at signal converters is to try and reduce this.
