I am thinking of buying a video ipod and I want to put some DVD's that I have made into a format that the Ipod can display.

Can any one recommend a software application that will do this, Thanks all.

FairUse Wizard v2.1 will do a great job converting DVDs to XviD, DivX (if you have the encoder), and H.264.

It's about ten quid shareware, but there's an almost-fully-functional trial available.

Features a two-pass strategy, picture cropping and ALWAYS gives you a file in sync.

It can use H.264, .mov, and MPEG-4 I have got Adobe Premirer, which can export to .mov but will not load the dvd files. One idea is to play it on the TV and use my DVcamrecorder which has DV-in and then in to Premirer and out to .mov, but this is a bit long way to do it.
