Convert electric screen

I have a project i am working on and have Idea to use the insides of an electric screen for masking.

I just want to see if it is possiable to convert RF controled screen into aa IR controlled screen. so that I can control it via an all in once remote.

Have a look here for some easy to build kits. Fit some relays to the open collector outputs to control the motor.
