Is there anyone out there who knows about fan controls?

I am trying to control one Hunter fan using Crestron CP2E processor. Need to have full ON and OFF as well as 2 preset speeds. Also need to have feedback from the fan to the Crestron. Oh yes, need to have in-wall control (with 4 buttons) that can override Crestron (and will work even if Crestron fails).

How more screwed up can it get? Oh yeah, need to also...... never mind ;)

I gave up... If anyone's got any ideas please let me know. (Including buying a new fan or re-building the existing one if that's the only option...)

    TIA
    TJ

Im not sure if this will work. First connect a 4 button switch to the fan (not sure how you do this)then control the switch from the Crestron Relays. I have controlled lights simular to this.

    Tim,
Have you looked at the Crestron group over on Yahoo, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Crestron/
They have been talking about fan control over the last couple of weeks, look at the following dates: 17/06/2004, 14/02/2005, 15th, 16th, 19th, 20th, 21st.
