    Hi,

I've got a panasonic TX-28PS10F and I see two faint contrasted bands, one just left of the middle of the screen and the other near the right edge. They aren't noticeble in bright scences but are distracting in scences with a lot of grey-blue coloring. Anybody know what's causing this problem (it's visible either when watching tv programs or dvd, so the problem really is with the TV) and more importnatly, how to solve it?

    cheers

Have you tried setting up the TV with the THX optimode which can be found on a lot of disney titles like toy story and on the fight club disc. It could be that your contrast setting is set too high try reducing it. and also lower the brightness a bit.

It's EHT ringing. Not much you can do other than set contrast and brightness to make it less visible.

Thanks for the info (both)! Dreads, I really liked the brightness of the display, well I figure I'll just have to adjust brightness/contrast. :(
