I've had a sudden urge over the last week to get a TV tuner to play console games on the PC, letting me take screenshots and having less clutter with a big CRT TV. Do they have a noticeably long delay between the signal leaving the source, being processed, and getting to the monitor? I noticed a couple of years ago watching terrestrial channels through a digital set top box had a long delay compared to having the signal go straight from the aerial to the TV. (I've probably answered my own question there.:suicide:)

I was looking at the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR1300 which seems to have a good range of connections. Composite and RF would be good. I'm not sure if I would need digital though. Would that mean it can pick up all the freeview channels? And roughly £50 is the limit of what I would go to.

I won't be buying one in the near future but I would like to know one way or the other if there's a delay.:)
