...about the comments users are making about it. I currently have Sky in my bedroom as my parents were not that interested before but told them about the Sky+ deal and they are keen now as they would get my old box (they would pay the £10 mirr sub) and I would get the Sky+ box as there are having terrible problems with Sony's updated Freeview software on an IDTV (3.21GB). So my concerns are this: 1. The fan, is it always on, if so is it faulty and how loud is it compared to PC fan's. 2. Does the second box need to be on a phone connection for 12 months as that might be a problem in the living room as phone point is at the opposite end of room from TV, some 6-8metres away, folks don't fancy extension cable running between them. 3. I have broadband and I'm concerned about Sky boxes connected to phone line interfering with my cherrished broadband. 4. How do Sky dial into the sky boxes, as if the phone rings and some picks the phone up that effectivefully nullifies the connection test does it not or can they receive a signal back thru dish telling them that line is not connected. I had my single box disconnected for most of my initial 12 month period as I heard folk taling about the box being responsible for dialling out of it's own accord to the speaking clock! Thanks in advance for any responses.
