Not sure why , but my ds just hasn't been played enough since I bought it , am seriously considering selling it and replacing it with a PSP.
    Anyone want to stop me?

 If you feel like swapping it just do it.
Did this really need a thread just to tell everyone?

No I wouldn't stop you but at the same time I wouldnt in any way urge you to buy a psp, no more than a handful of good games on either, definetely not worth owning a whole system over. Had both and sold them both :D .

Youd be better off buying some of the classic GBA games and having a go of them than getting a psp. I can honestly say the psp is crap. Grand theft auto Vice city is good as is lumines and virtua tennis but most games are hampered by cack controls.

    I've got both.

Personally I think the games are a lot better on the DS but each to their own.

Ive got both, both are never used. BUT i still dont want to sell them just incase i do want to use them one day.

Of the 2 i'd say the PSP but thats only because i like GTA, the ds is good but it makes my hands hurt cus its so small and cramped.

I did exactly the same 5 months ago. Got bored with my DS so I got a PSP, sold my DS. Then after a month I got fed up of the PSP so I sold that and bought a DS again.

    Don't do it!

We have both PSP and DS in the family.

I did buy a small number of games for the PSP (Tombraider, Star Wars, Medievil) but only the children played them, and they much prefer their DSs.

I only use the thing as a portable video machine viewing ripped DVDs on long plane journeys, which I have to say it is great for. It does mean I wander round with an unbelievable number of memory stick pro duos...

The DS seems, to me at least, to have a much better set of games for it, the ability to play old games from Nintendo consoles, and done well the touch screen does give a more interesting range of control options. If you like racing games then I suspect the PSP is more suitable for you, though.

One interesting thing will be when they get round to creating games where the DS can interact with the Wii.

    Just my ha'pennies worth

I did the opposite, had a PSP and sold it about 8 months ago and never looked back. I originally bought the PSP because I wanted to play games whilst on my hols, travelling etc The main issue that I found with the PSP is that the screen just isn't bright enough so is more or less redundant if your outside, so bang goes playing games and watching films. So your left with a MP3 player, which if you've only got a 1GB card can only, hold a few albums.

They seemed to have aimed the PSP at Hardcore gamers on the move aka handheld console, but just porting over titles from Playstation isn't working as the majority of them just play and look awful.

If you haven't got a DS Lite, I'd suggest picking up one those as huge improvement over the original.

Personally only popped on here to see if I could pick up another DS Lite as the wife keeps nicking mine and we are off to Florida next month so I'm not fighting for the damn thing for 8 hours!

So if you do decide to sell and it's a Lite I might be interested.:D
