I was just wondering how to connect my pc to my plasma and to run sound through my amplifier.

The pc is a Pentium 3, 800 Mhz, with a 64 meg G-Force 2 mx400 agp video card with "onboard sound".

My plasma is a panasonic th42pw4b and the amp is a sony TA-VA777es.
I will be running on windows xp which i believe can be set at widescreen.
Hopefully it will just be a good quality sound card and a cable from the back of the pc to plasma's vga imput??

    Thanks

For Video the Radeon 9000 would do a good job, no fan so quiet. Approx £50 from Dabs

For decent sound M-Audio Revolution 7.1 £88 from Overclockers

Any recommendations for the "vga"cable and if this goes direct from back of pc to back of plasma or via a converter?
    Thanks

I would have thought if the Plasma had a VGD D connector then connect direct form PC to Plasma. Making sure you use the correct resolution and refresh.

If anyone else can just confirm this........
