Hi!

Can anyone recommend anywhere I can get decent wall connection plates from?

I'm not after anything fancy - just a tidy way of terminating my speaker cable connections. I've seen some keene electronics do (http://www.keene.co.uk/pages/cat/16diy/16F.html), but I wondered if there are any alternatives out there.

Thanks,

Skinny Puppy (Steve)

O.M.G. they are SO much cheaper aswell!!

Thanks a million EvilJohn, I'll have a browse around their site.......

Okay - got a new one for you......

I've now seen how I can connect my AV amp to speakers without having the cables simply disappear in to holes in the wall, but can this be done with the video connections too? I see most places such as keene and CPC do scart/S-video connector plates, but how about HDMI?

I think you'll struggle to find wall plates for any digital connectors I'm afraid. If you can find a panel-mountable HDMI socket then you might be able to cobble one together yourself from a blank panel. Hopefully someone like Joe Fernand might be able to chime in with some helpful knowledge. :)
