    hi all
    looking advice on best way to connect my TV/DVD RECORDER/FREEVIEW.

    TV-TOSHIBA 32ZT29B (3 SCARTS PLUS COMPONENT)
    DVD RECORDER-PANASONIC DMR55 (2 SCARTS PLUS COMPONENT)
    FREEVIEW BOX-SONYVTX-D800U ( 2 SCARTS)

    please help

    p.s.
    I don't use the intergrated freeview tuner on the toshiba as it is crap. :lease:

    Out of curiousity why do you think it's crap?

    I have one of these and it seems fine.

    I'd suggest:

    TV ---component--- DVD RECORDER ---RGB scart--- FREEVIEW BOX

    That way you get best possible display on the TV, and best output from the Freeview box to the DVD recorder, allowing you to watch the Freeview through the DVD-R to the TV.

    the intergraded freeview tuner is very slow and suffers from signal lost were the sony unit does not.
