    I have my Toshiba 36ZP48 connected by component leads to my Pioneer DV575 DVD player.
    Is there any reason I require to have TV & DVD set up with SCART leads as well;
    I cannot use the 100Hz refresh rate unless I use a scart, is the component connection better than all other conections avalible?
    Confused!

    What is the matter? is my question too stupid to warrant a reply, I really don't understand the pro's and con's of this business. Honestly it's not a trick question!

    Regards,
    Bill

    Bill,

    I suspect people have viewed your previous postings. You don't need a scart connection having connected up by component as I advised you weeks ago.

    I am very pleased with my buy Piers, it replaced equipment that was 13 years old so the difference in quality is huge. Everything is working now and I am getting used to changing the different settings.

    cheers
    Bill
