Not sure if this is the correct section so apologies if it's not.

I've been messing with my connections b4 i finalise and thought i would try using the Quintro box to connect my Xbox and Sky+ then using the JS RGB/VGA converter to the PW6 via the VGA connection. The problem i'm having is I'm getting no picture although if the screens in stanby when i power up it switches its self on but with no picture so a signal is being sent although no picture. I thought it might be the RGB/PAl settings on the sky box so changed these to Pal and still no difference.
Anyone doing the same here offer any suggestions please and to top it all i can't find my Quinto manual.
    Cheers
    Jonah

    Hey there,
I have just bought a panny 6 with quintro and thought that all i had to do was plug all the scarts into the quintro and then the quintro into the panny...

    is this not right?

OK its now been sorted with the help of AV sales Adrew Collie :smashin: It had something to do with the connections i was using on the Quintro, origanally was using the first two scart connections but Andrew suggested changing them to two different ones and all well now, although both were confused as to why but we think its something to do with directional signals  any way you'll be OK as i am now and look after those manuals :D
Thanks to Andrew and AV sales again

input 1 on the Quintro only uses composite signal
so don't expect it to switch RGB through it.

RGB is a video signal...Scart is a cable and can carry various video signals Composite (the worst) S-Video (pretty good) RGB [RGBS] (the best) YUV [Component] (rare but very good) Scart is just a cable with 20 pins an outer sheild and some cable
