At the moment I have my 2910 connected by HDMI to my Pioneer Plasma direct, with Digital Audio into my 3806 AMP, and would like to know if I would still need the audio digital connected to my AMP if I connected the 2910 direct to my AMP via HDMI and HDMI out into my Plasma. Would it make any difference please?

Check Out Page 20 Of Your 3806 Manual.
The Difference Is Only One Of Preference.

Thanks I have nearly worn the manual out now, but still wondered about having them both connected or utilise the digital coax for something else.

I Only Use Hdmi For Picture Not For Sound Since My Hitachi Plasma Is Dvi-d Input.
I Use D-link From The A11 To The 3806 For Movies And Music And Have Disconnected My Coax And Optical Cables Altogether.
