connection problems between two tvs

Hello everybody

good site, have learnt a bit, but need some help.


I have tv with 2 scarts and dvi + pc input.

A video with one scart

a dvd with one scart

and sky with 2 scarts.

having followed some previous posts, i have made these connections.

1) tv aerial (RF) into sky, into video, into tv

2) sky tv scart to tv av1

3) sky vcr scart to vcr

4) dvd scart to tv av2

This allows me to record sky which i want.

my problem is when i try to connect the above to my tv in the bedroom. I have tried various splitters, but no good. Got a signal booster to try and help with picture upstairs, but the config on the box means that i can not record sky.

I have left the above connections in place and currently have a cable running from sky RF output2 upstairs into the booster, then the booster to the tv. This allows me to watch sky, but the other channels are very poor.

Can someone help with my second tv problem ,and check the rest of the connection are ok. I have a scart type lead with red, green and blue connections an wonder wether i can utilise this to improve things also.

anyones help would be greatly appreciated.
