Just got a Samsung LE37 R87 but i'm having problems connecting my 360 via component.
The 1080i setting works fine but when i try 720p i get a band of digital blocking about 5cm thick across the top of the screen. When the xbox tests the tv in 50 hz mode it disappears but when it reverts to 60 hz the problem returns. Could this be a problem with the tv or just the console, either way any help would be gratefully appreciated -thanks

It's hard to say what is at fault. The only way to really find out is to try your 360 with another HDTV and/or try your HDTV with another HDTV source. It's possible it may be the cable but if 1080i works OK that is not likely.

That's my problem, i don't have access to another HD source or HDTV to test the 360 and the component lead.
