I have tried to connect my Humax PVR8000T to my Phillips LX7000SA, but can not get sound to come from the rear speakers. I have connected the Humax to the Phillips using the red & white RCA connectors. I was able to get sound from my rear speakers when using my old Phillips 1500 Freeview box, but can't remember how I had it wired. The rear speakers work fine when playing a dvd or a cd. The Humax has an optical output but as far as I can see the phillips does not have the correct input for this type of lead though it has got a digital input for a cdr. Any suggestions very welcome
