Help needed. Bought Panny E65 yesterday. Having trouble getting progressive scan image on projector.

Ended up disconnecting all scarts from the back. Just had component leads connected and put in a pre-recorded dvd. Video setup on AV1 was set to Video (with component) also tried s-video (with component). Also had progressive scan set to On.

    Projector received no signal.

Anybody got a Panny who can help. Lead length is 15m. Although I am aware image degredation will occur the greater the cable length, shouldn't stop progressive signal should it? Component works ok with progressive set to Off.

    Yeah Jimmy - thanks

Have tried it out on a friend's plasma and Panny is fine - must be a projector or adaptor issue. There is a special VESA adaptor for component progressive with my projector - maybe that.

    Panny is fine - thanks
