    Am getting a 42" panasonic 5 series

I will have a progressive scan DVD player and expected to just have to use a component cable from the player to the display and maybe s-video form the sky+ box. Is this right? The number of posts on connections to plasmas is making my head hurt!!

    TIA

    Hi Rob,

Yes, what you are proposing would be fine. Are you intending to fit a terminal board or get a tuner? I'd suggest that an RCA or BNC terminal board would be preferable as the Sky+ box would serve well as your tuner. Hope this helps.

My Panasonic 37 came with the RCA component board which is good for componant and RGB+HV oh and also svideo. The board was boxed separately but I'm sure it wasn't a mistake.
