    Current set up:

    PW7 with component (RCA) and VGA input.
    xbox --> scart --> telewest box --> JS Tech RGB/VGA --> VGA input on TV
    DVD --> component input TV

    I'll be buying an xbox360 soon, and it comes with component outputs. I'd like to use them if possible. I see a few options

    Option 1
    Buy another component input board for my TH24PW7. Cost = £120 approx.

    Option 2
    Buy a component video switcher and plug both xbox and DVD player into that. Cost £150 approx. (but can add more component if required)

    Option 3
    Sell RGB/VGa convertor & component input board, and buy a component video switcher and an RGB/component conv. for my telewest box, and route everything via the switcher, outputting to my VGA connection (can someone confirm that the VGA on the PW7 can take component signal?). Cost = who knows - but if I could get £150 for my existing conv. and component input it might be cheapest of all!).

    Are there any other options? And what do people think is best?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dez

    I was told by "mr head of Panasonic professional support" they (for some reason un known to him either) missed out the capability for the 7 series, and he hoped it would be back for the 8.

    Sorry to be the barer of bad news...
