My Father has just bought and set up a Samsung LE32R87BDX LCD, and i hwe is really happy so far, he has however hit one problem.

he has his sony Dvd Player conected via composite (yes i know, im sorting this out ASAP)

and he has his SKY box conencted via the RGB scart.

this all works fine, however he cannot get a picture from his video player.

its connected to the TV via the sky box to the TV, bu he cant seem to get a video signal on any of the channels.

im sure thus will be obvious to fix, but i cant see the solution at the mo.
i would usually just replicate my set up but i dont have a Video to do so.

    any help apreciated.

    cheers

You say the video is connected via the SKY box, how, through the aerial lead or SCART.

He will not get a picture on any of the channels. If the Video output is via Scart then you need to select the input, AV1, AV2 etc on the TV, the same one as the SKY box. If connected via aerial then he needs to switch to analogue TV and tune a spare analogue channel.
