    I have a Pioneer VSX-520K AV Receiver and a Harman/Kardon HKTS60 5.1 home cinema system.

Harman/Kardon just released headphones for apple products:
Harman Kardon - Headphones - Shop In-Ear, On-Ear, and Bluetooth Designer Headphones

I want the H/K BT ones to match up with my 5.1 system but they are bluetooth wireless.
Is there a way to connect them with my Pioneer receiver ? It is bluetooth ready with optional Pioneer AS-BT100 Bluetooth Adapter.

Will the headphones just connect to the adapter by it self or is that bluetooth meant for something else ? like connecting smartphones or something?

I want to buy 2 headphones to watch late at night with the wife. Is it a possibility ?

    Thanks in advance :)

If you want a generic solution that uses the audio outputs on your Pioneer (or any other device), then these two should sort you out. Looking at the Pioneer, you should be able to use one of the audio outputs to feed this into the bluetooth adapter.

    Bluetooth Transmitter
Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Audio A2DP MP3 Dongle: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

    Cable
Cables To Go 80134 Value Series 3.5mm Stereo Jack: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

p.s. there should be similar things availably locally...

p.p.s. I just visited Iceland... beautiful country. Really enjoyed it!

    :)

    Thanks for your response Push.

So i have to use some kind of an a adapter in between the receiver and the headphones?
I cannot use the wireless adapter on the receiver to pick up the headphones?

And if i go this adapter route, will the bluetooth adapter be able to send sound in 2 headphones at the same time ?

You mean this... ? AS-BT100 (Archived) - Pioneer UK

Looks to me like a receiver, rather than a transmitter - i.e. you could send from your mobile phone to the Pioneer.

I don't think the transmitter would send to multiple devices at the same time.
