    Hi,
I've just bought a Wii and need some help connecting it to my surround sound. I've got a Panasonic SC-PT570 all-in-one together with a LG PJ350 tv and Sky+HD box. The tv has 2 scart sockets & 1 HDMI port so I've currently got it connected as follows:

    Sky+ to tv via HDMI
    TV to all-in-one via Scart
    Wii to tv via Scart

Can anybody advise how to connect the Wii for best video & surround sound ?

Your best bet would be to buy a Wii component lead then connect Red,Green, Blue(Y, Pb, Pr) cables into TVs component inputs and the Red,White audio cables into the amp for surround sound.

ye that prob the best and most financialy sound option. also this will improve your pic a tad:smashin:

alternativly can try optical converter box so you can make the wii run of optical lead.... there about 35 quid but some mags give it free if ie what home cinema i think do if you sign up for so many issues.

another optionn totaly negating the speaker you have is buy a cheap pair of cans that give 5.1 effect sound. ie sennhizer do some courdlass ones and simply plug them into you tv so the sound comes through headset and is converted to 5.1

I received the component cable, but I can't connect it at the audio/video end as there is a moulded clip near the end, so there's not enough slack between the RGB and audio cables to allow connection to a separate tv & amp. It looks like all of the cables on Amazon have a moulded clip  Can anybody recommend a cable that doesn't have one ?
