    Hello,

I am trying to connected one of my SR7009's to the other in a sort of Pre/PWR type setup using one for fronts and the other for everything else. I am wondering if using the pre outs of one to the multi in of the other is the way to do it or is it not possible without purchasing a separate power amp.

Yes that's the way to do it,but the second unit dose not operate in pure power mode, you still have to play with the volume control.

Yes I figured it out needed to change input source to 7.1 in. Have volume set for a good limit and was able to biamp my two Motion 60xt's and motion 50xt

If can set your volume setting to last set volume, will be better in the sense that you don't have to set the volume every time.
