Connecting TV wall sockets

Hello

I am in the process of decorating my house, and whilst I am doing this I will manage and hide the loose cables which are currently on show. The cables I am referring to are my Standard TV aerial cables.

At the moment I have a TV aerial cable in downstairs front room which comes through the outside wall from outside aerial. The length of this cable is approximately 2 meters so there is a lot of excess cable.

I would like to do the work myself, but if this is not possible then get a professional. I want to remove this 2 meter length of excess cable and attach a TV aerial wall socket to the TV aerial cable. Is this easy to achieve and how do I go about this. What wall socket do I need and how do I attach the cable to the socket.

I also have a similar situation in my downstairs backroom. The difference is that the excess TV aerial cable is a link from a TV outlet in the upstairs back bedroom.

I also have Sky TV which comes through the front downstairs room from Satellite Dish on outside wall. There is also a link to the back bedroom with Sky TV link. Can the Sky cables also be attached to a wall mount and is this easy to achieve.

Thanks

Ronnie
