The problem I have, is that I have an 8 ft screen above my fireplace and nowhere to position a centre speaker. I am considering having two centre speakers (one either side of the fireplace which should not be a problem as the wall is 8 metres across so I can position the fronts without them clashing with the dialogue.
Is there anyway I can connect two centre speakers up to an AV1SR? I thought of connecting both speakers up to the same (centre speaker) terminal but was advised that this may cause problems. My current speakers are Tannoy precisions (7.1) which are phased, so the introduction of alternative centre speakers is not an option.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Just had a thought. Would outputing the signal from the AV1SR to a two channel power amp and connect both speakers to the right and left terminals work?
