I currently have M-Audio BX-5's studio monitors (M-AUDIO - M-Audio Product Photos ). They are connected to a Citronic AC1-USB audio interface (Citronic AC1-USB Audio Capture Adaptor at Studiospares ) via XLR to RCA cables. The problem is that the audio interface only has two outputs which are being used for the BX-5's. Would it be possible to use this Yamaha YST-FSW100 subwoofer (YST-FSW100 - Subwoofers - Yamaha - UK and Ireland ) with the setup? I was thinking it might be possible by using two splitters from the audio interface output (Gold plated splitter RCA plug to 2 x RCA sockets: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics ) and then also using a splitter for the subwoofer cable and therefore plugging a BX5 cable and a subwoofer cable into both outputs. Would this be possible? If not, is there any way to connect the subwoofer without having to buy another audio interface with more outputs? Many thanks for any help.
