Connecting Soundblaster to SKY+ for surround

I've spend ages looking through your forum for a solution.

I have got a Soundblaster XFI Audio Express PCI card which has Optical In and out on the card.

Its "Ment" to be able to decode Dolby digital which Sky Puts out on some of its channels.

I ve connected up with my optical cable but only get sound coming thru with it set as Normal in the settings,

In Dolby mode in the sky setting menu stereo sound pumps through but only on some BBC channels....The channels that are ment to be encoded are silent some time a whining sound as the channel is changed.

Anyone with the same problem...

I know its about time i got a proper AV Unit

You do know that only the Sky Movie channels, on a Sky+ box, are sometimes DD encoded don't you?
