    Hi

Im having problems connecting my optical lead top the 360, it connects ok but seems extremely floppy and a slight knock brings it out the component lead connection, it connects fine to my thompson DVD optical in socket (With a click) but it doesnt do that on the 360 component lead. Not getting any sound?

Any ideas or some other peeps have the same problem?, at the moment this is only on a CRT TV but that shouldnt make a difference I guess?

Mine does exatly the same thing, I think it's a problem with the component adapter rather than anyones optical cable. Saying that though, I never lose sound unless the lead falls out of course.

It's a huge pain sometimes, but I don't move mine round much anyway.

Think ive sorted it, had to mess about with the DVD player itself, only playing through the front 2 speakers though, I guess it kicks in actually in the game? just played the MI3/Aeon Flux trailers and althoug hit says all 6 speakers are ok and connected im just getting the front 2 speakers.

Anyone know a good game to test the 5.1 on?

All games are DD 5.1. You should get a DD signal as soon as you switch on the 360 with a game in it. :)
