I'm hoping one of the smart folks on here can save me from having to buy a new TV just to get the right audio output. I just got a Black Friday deal on a 5.1 channel soundbar system (Vizio V51-H6) that has these connections:

And I want to connect it to a TV with these:

Is there any way to connect these two components and get all five channels? Maybe with some kind of a converter in between?

connect the tv to the soundbar on hdmi 1 ( any as it doesnt seem to have arc so does not really matter)
in the tvs menus find your audio section and if it has it select bitstream or it may possibly have dolby, select that ( if this isnt availble select pcm)
the soundbar should take this input and using its on board dsp process the sound to its various speakers, thats the best i can offer, good luck.

Thank you. Would something like this work from the TV's coaxial to the soundbar's optical?
