    Hi,

    Have recently purchased a Panny HS2 DVD recorder and also a Pioneer 565 DVD player (not delivered yet).

    I have the HS2 connected by RGB scart loop thro from sky.

    My TV only has one RGB capable scart, so can I incorporate the pioneer into the loop as well (as far as I know it has twin scarts with RGB pass thro), or do I have to purchase a scart switching box?

    Thanks in advance.

    You should be ok if the kit has RGB loopthro. My set up is similar but with different kit.

    Tosh 230 => Sky+ =>Philips DVDR70 => TV

    The only thing I can't do is back up the sky+ to dvd on the Philips while watching a DVD using the Tosh. Although its not really a problem as its not somit I'm liable to do.

    If the 565 has RGB loopthru put it first in the chain, closest to the TV, that way you can record Sky and watch the film on the 565, this how my kit is set up.
