Hello,

I want to connect a Logitech Z506 5.1 sound system to my TV.

It seems the optical output is stereo only, do I have another option?

Here's a photo of my TV (LG42LE5300):

I use my notebook connected to the TV via HDMI.

This marvelous chinese invention seems my best option, right?

Thanks in advance!

I would like to thank everyone who helped me immeasurably in my decision. In the last 50 minutes I inconsequently bought my sound system and a Vantec 200U 7.1 external soundcard (instead of the

)

Is looks like this:

Hope it will work, I'll probably give feedback here if I get some email remembering me, otherwise I'll forget and continue living my life.

Unless it doesn't work, then I'll come back.
Hope to not see y'a
Cheers.

PS About

: If you're thinking of buying that, be aware that the only driver for it is WINDOWS 8 ONLY. So yeah,

won't work in anything else, probably, who knows, we never know with that stuff.
