Connecting iPod to Home Cinema?

Hi folks, happy new year.

I have a Sony Bravia Theatre home cinema which I bought in the sales and i love it

My question is, can i connect my ipod nano to it?

well,if you want to splash out on the DMport adaptor,then that will set you back anything up to £100,to attach something to it.
or,you could attach the nano's earphone socket,to the 2 analogue phono audio in's,for a fraction of the price.
then that would leave the digital coax/optical audio's,to be used.

Yeah I saw the DMPort on the back of my amp, do I need an adaptor to use it then?

Will I get better sound from using the DMPort?
