Connecting Home Cinema And Decoder Help

    hi all, justr bought klv-l32m1 sony tft, and im really struggling, ive connected decoder to scart 3 works perfect, connected pioneer home cinema, svideo from home cinema to scart, (scart 1) and i only get black and white, any ideas

    yes change the format from nstc to pal or auto,found under setup menu whilst on the correct av channel

    thanks, but i cant find an option to change that on the tv menu screens, any suggestions

    select av1 and then selct menu and set up, a list should come up it could be something like rgb, s-video nstc or pal, keep scrolling until the colour returns

    ok plugged into av2 and it works, next question is, should sky be in 1 or 2 for best picture, does in make a difference.

    The problem here has nothing to do with video standards (PAL/NTSC). The problem is that a SCART socket can only be wired for one of two configurations: RGB/Composite or S-Video/Composite. The Sony TVs of course can accept PAL or NTSC.

    But for S-Video, you'll need to plug it into SCART2.

    SKY should be set to output RGB and this can only be connected to SCART1.

    now im confused, on my own set if it is set rgb but svideo is input i get colours but like a negative :confused:
