connecting headphones to a Bose 321 !

Question: How do I connect headphones to the set up? (Doesn't work when I attach headphones to audio out (L or R))

What am I doing wrong!

If the system does not have a dedicated headphone output then you will need to get a headphone amp. these range in price from around £20 from somewhere such as Maplin up to several hundred pounds from HiFi/AV retailers such as 7Oaks etc.
The reason you need a headphone amp is that the audio out (stereo L/R phono sockets) are at line level and the headphones need an amp to drive them, in the same way as you need an amp to drive speakers.
