Connecting HD with Bose and Samsung HDTV

Can anyone please help with the following questions. I have a
Samsung LE32R1BD HD TV
Bose 321 Home entertainment systen
Sky HD
PS3

The questions I have are
1. Does it matter what HDMI cable you use?
2. How can I connect both the Sky and PS3 when I only haveone HDMI socket
3. What is the best way to output the sound from the Sky to the Bose system? Is Optical any good, and if so do I need to change settings to output through optical rather than HDMI?

Any help would be really grateful!!

From the SKY HD box the HDMI cable only gives stereo, use an optical cable from the SKY HD box to your av system, set the SKYHD audio out to DD.
