    Hello all,

I am going to be connected 3 extra pieces of kit to my sony dav-s550 and was just wondering what would be the best way of doing it.

I was thinking of connecting a freeview box using the optical input and then connect my DAB and VCR using regular left and right audio interconnects. My thinking behind this was that the onboard DAC in the DAB has been highly acclaimed, and so I could use the DAC in the amp on the Sony to provide a good sound for freeview signals.

If there is any advice anyone could give me I would be grateful,

p.s I have heard that purchasing good quality left and right audio connectors for use in a VCR is a waste of money, is this true??

    James :)
