connecting dvd recorder to Panasonic TX32LXD52

Hi All,
just bought a Panasonic TX32LXD52...have connected Sky + and Technomate sat receiver via the 2 rgb scarts...I'm trying to connect DVD via
component...cant get anything on screen...don't seem to see anything in menus for component setting on either Panasonic or LG dvd...there is a
switch on the back of the dvd for rgb/component...anyone else have a
similar set-up...

There isn't a component setting on the Panny LCD, you just plug it in to the the Component inputs and away you go.

Can't speak for your DVD player though, sounds like you just switch the switch on the back of it.

thanks for that scrapbook...I've got the dvd temporarily connected via the
3rd scart...I've think i've finally worked it out...if i press a combination of
the coloured keys on the r/c, I can get 'component' on the screen...should
this happen automatically when I reconnect via component same as the
scart connection or will I have to manually access the component input...
