Connecting DVD player to 2ch amp

Ordered a Marantz PM7200 so should hopefully be arriving tomorrow.

I intend to get the CD7300 to go with it at the start of next month. So in the meantime I will just be using my DVD player to play cds :/

What is the best way to connect this to use a source for the 2ch amp? I also have a SR4200 receiver which is currently connected to the dvd player via coax.

Soundwise what would be the best solution for music cia 2ch amp in the eman time? Only outputs on DVD are l+r connects or coax.

See if it sounds better connected to your 2-ch amp (as if was another cd player); If not, leave it how it is.
