Edit: Ignore this whole post/thread...my cable wasnt plugged right in on the monitor end, lol. It was a tight fit though, just saying to not dampen my pride too much Pretty great result though as the display automatically duplicated to my monitor as soon as the cable was pushed in. Then I switched it just external monitor only so I can push the resolution right up to 2560X1440 @60hz. Awesome result.

Hey guys
I bought a mini dislayport to displayport cable (4k) to connect my Dell Ultrabook XPS 13 to a Dell Ultrasharp 2713HM monitor. Both being Dells, I thought this would be simple but on connecting the cable and making sure my monitor is switched to Displayport input of course, my laptop doesnt recongnise any external monitor. Either by pressing Fn+F1 or via display property settings.
I'm running windows 10, Intel Graphics 4000. Do I need to install some driver for the MiniDisplayport? Anyone knows?
Thanks
