Hi, this is my first post here, so please forgive my ignorance.
I am thinking of getting sky+ installed, but I want to be able to archive off cartoons to DVD for my son to watch. I was thinking of buying a dvd recorder to connect to the box, but i wondered if it would be possible to connect my Formac TV digitizer box, and my laptop, which has a DVD recorder. Any ideas as to what connections are in the back of the box etc, and if this is a viable idea??? Thanks

SKY+ has a couple of scarts (one RGB), an s-video output (which is probably the best option) and two RF outputs.
There are the normal twin RCA phonos for audio as well as an optical output.

A combination of the s-video and phonos should provide reasonable quality and ease of setup and DVD authoring software can do wonders for homemade discs:)
