Hi all,
I have recently bought a 2nd hand tv Hitachi L42vc04u
I forgot the remote so picking it up another day as it was a fair journey.
I am trying to connect my blu Ray player so I can at least watch movies whilst I cannot connect to freeview.
I have turned it all of connected the hdmi to slot 1, turned the to on and selected HDMI 1 slot and turned blu Ray on.
Nothing just a blue screen. Help please? I can access the menu from the side of the to but cannot work out what I am suppose to do to get it connected . Thanks

If you have the player connected via the right hdmi then it should work, TRY ANOTHER LEAD OR ANOTHER HDMI PORT.

I have tried both hdmi slots and two different leads. It was working on my other tv!

Not looking good in my op, could be. Faulty hdmi board.

All I can think of is a reset of TV but I don't think that's gonna help.
