    Hi all

I recently added an AV amp to my hifi setup and would like to connect the front speakers to both stereo and AV amps. I’m going down the switch box route as the av amp has no preouts. I just have a couple of issues that need resolving first though:

    1. Will a standard speaker switch box (ie one designed for connecting 2 sets of speakers to one amp but used in reverse) do the trick? Or do I have to use a source switch box like this?

    2. The speakers are biwired so do I need to use two switch boxes to keep them biwired?

    Any advice much appreciated

    Cheers
