I have bought the Sony RDR GX3 Recordable DVD. (Hope fully Friday).

Trouble is I have now run out of coaxial digital input sockets on my Tag AV32.
I have used them as follows:
    CD CD
    DVD Tag Digital Tuner
    LD Minidisc
    Synclink CD synlink

I had refrained from using the Optical digital Inputs due to the (alledged) inferior sound.

So it now looks as though I have got to use on of the optical inputs, I will put my DAB radio into that
socket, so can you suggest a good Optical cable, are the ones on the AV32 Toslink connections?

Is there any other way of connecting the DVD to the AV32? I do not have the 5.1 by-pass.
At present my AV32 is having the 192/24 dac put in.

    Cheers.

Nothing wrong with optical, try Chord or QED for decent cable, avoid cheap thin one though.
