Hello all
I store my music on an Astell & Kern AK Jr DAP which has a USB port and a headphone out. It can act as a USB DAC or just as storage media (edit: it also has a line out function). I normally listen directly through B&W P7 headphones or plug into a Denon avr x2300w via USB to listen on loudspeakers (I have a MA Bronze 5.1 setup downstairs).
I wanted to do something similar at my desk with 2.1 bookshelf speakers and a small sub - hopefully this provides a step up in clarity and experience solely for music (thoughts..?) However, I can't figure out how to connect to speakers, there doesn't seem to be any stereo amps on the market with a USB-A input?
Happy to buy a separate DAC but most of the ones I can find just have headphone outputs rather than L and R channels to go into an amp.
Obviously not very experienced with all this so any advice/recommendations are welcome!
Cheers
