Is it practical to connect to amplifiers to one output; e.g. a subwoofer, or a pair of speakers.
What I had in mind was:
Say you have a subwoofer which has a rating of 500w RMS. Then you also have 2 amplifiers, rated at 250w RMS each.
Could you connect one amp to your head unit, and then convert that amplifiers speaker wire output to RCA cables using a converter, and connect that into the RCA input of the 2nd amp, and then connect the speaker wire output from that amplifier to the subwoofer.
Would this bring the subwoofer closer to its maximum potential?
Thanks
