C:\Users\Matija>
This one is wired to the router using Windows 7

Here is the connection test from Wi-Fi Inspector:

In the router setting it says that the problematic PC is connected:
Radiona is the problematic computer, War_Machine is one of the 4 other working :D

I can access the 192.168.1.1 setting from the problematic PC

My service provider is T-Com
Broadband connection: ADSL
Modem is: Gigaset SE555 WLAN dsl

Thank you in advance!

Re-check your wireless password.

If that doesn't help, is it working with an external DNS like Google DNS or OpenDNS?

Do you have MAC address filtering enabled for your wireless connected devices? If so have you added the laptops MAC address to the allowed list?

Mark.

To use the OpenDNS I just have to register and type preferred and alternate DNS server?
will try that in a moment if that is so.
The password is correct.
EDIT: Oops. You're not using OpenDNS yet. :D
So.. neither googledns or OpenDNS are working
filtering in the 192.168.1.1?
MAC address filter is OFF

Have you tested the problematic windows XP machine using a wired connection ?
If not, why not ?

I don't know why I haven't tried that yet..
But I will tomorrow, thank you for your reply

I set to configure IP automatically, didn't help, removed the security on the network(no password) didn't help, manually configured IP after removing the password didn't help also...
I tried to connect it via the ethernet cable but still... I am connected.. can access the 192.168.1.1 but can't get any webpages to load

external IP like open DNS? i can ping 192.168.1.1, can ping some open DNS's i tried, liek googleDNS: 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 and some other open DNS, and i think i can ping the google ip adress but cant ping google.com

When you try pinging (say) the bbc ("www.bbc.co.uk") does your problematic computer:

A) resolve the name to an IP address (regardless of whether ping replies or not)
B) get any replies to ping

This doesn't sound like a DNS issue, so don't bother with openDNS and the like for now. The results of A) will tell us whether this is DNS problem or not.

Have you got any firewall or anti-malware software running on the problem PC? It sounds more like that line of country to me.

Note that as a "security" measure many web sites these days refuse to respond to "ping" (though they should resolve,) However, at time of writing the bbc usually still respond to ping.

Why did you manually input the settings on the computer that doesn't work? why not do it auto like the others

C:\Documents and Settings\Danko>ping bbc.co.uk
Ping request could not find host bbc.co.uk. Please check the name and try again.

OK - that's a DNS issue.

So lets check that web browsing works:

On your PC that works, do that same ping of the bbc a note the IP address the the name resolves to. For example, on my PC at time of writing "www.bbc.co.uk" resolves to 212.58.246.94.

Take the IP address to you problem PC, open a web browser, the type "http:\\[IP address]" into the address bar and see whether the bbc's web page loads. (replace [IP Address] with the IP address of course. "http:\\212.58.246.94" in my example.)

I tried that and I can access the websites by typing their IP address
EDIT: It is obtaining IP address and DNS automatically

I set Win firewall to off, uninstalled Ad-watch Lavasoft, uninstalled nood32, and also uninstalled some p2p programes like limewrire, bitcomet and others

Presumably that didn't make any difference.

It's a long shot, but check whether the DNS Client service on your errant computer is "started" and set to start up "automatically." (If you don't know how to do that, post back.)

Is that set where the IP & DNS of the computer are set?
properties, TCP/IP and that stuff?
if not, can you please explain how to "start" it up?

On XP -

"Start" "run" and type "services.msc" in the run box & click OK.

In the list that opens up, (it's a list of all the "service" processes your computer can run - many of which are set up to start automatically when the computer starts up) somewhere is the "DNS Client." Have a look to see if it's "status" is "started" and it's "Startup type" is set to "automatic."

If not, double click it, change the "startup type" to "automatic" and click the "start" button.
