Dear All,
Please help - this is driving me crazy.....
I've read a few blogs and similar on the internet re this (probably too much as I'm confused myself).
And sorry if this is a simple thing to resolve but I appreciate your help.
I have a vaio which is docked in its port replicator (VGR PRS2) which has (output-wise) either VGA or DVI-D.
On its hard drive I have movies etc I would like to watch on my LCD Tv, which is a 32" Wega (KLV_L32M1).
The connections on the back of the TV are -
3 x Scart and
the 3 component sockets (Y-Pb/Cb-Pr/Cr)
and on the front there is a S-Video port.
Having read an article, I purchased a VGA-3 component cable (red, blue and green).
The problem is getting it all to work.
I presume all the settings that need to be changed are on the laptop and not the TV, and so i have 'played around' with a few settings and have got quite close to seeing the desktop on screen (coloured diagonal lines with a message on the TV saying unrecognised format or similar)
I have downloaded the latest update/drivers for GeForce NVidia.
Under my display settings and under the multiple monitors page, it has recognised that the Sony LCD is attached, but what settings do I need to change to make this work!?"?!?
Thanking you in advance for your help.
